Tyson Fury is back in camp. He’s sparring right now but it’s not to intense. At the 12 week mark the camp picks up intensity. Leading boxing pundit Dan Rafael is claiming the Klitschko rematch isn’t confirmed yet. Recent headlines that Wlad & Hayden Panettiere have split up could be contributing to this. The tentative date is late October. As usual Fury’s camp will use Helenius who is described as the best Heavyweight sparring partner in the business.
Kell Brook will be conducting a majority of his camp from the Spanish island of Fuerteventura. Brook’s team have promised he will come in muscular without fat at the 160 pound weight limit. Brook has it all to do, he is seen as a rank outsider by the entire boxing world.
Shannon Briggs is claiming Haye has had several problems with the contracts to their planned October bout. While it’s easy to believe this, Briggs has a history of these kind of problems. It will all get sorted. This promotion needs to kick off. The fight will be massive. Despite many seeing this as an easy win for Haye.
AJ will be back in November. Likely against Stiverne. If Don King plays hardball, expect AJ to face Pulev. Both are dangerous bouts, however he should get through them. Setting up a January battle with Joseph Parker. The Kiwi fights Haumono in New Zealand on Wednesday night.
